Moving on from the research laboratory, he opened and operated a crown and bridge laboratory in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs. During this time, he was involved in the development, manufacture and placement of some of the first subperiosteal implants in Australia. 

Ten years later, he and his family moved to the Far North Coast of New South Wales to commence a partnership in a commercial dental laboratory and denture clinic with two other dental technicians/prosthetists. 

After spending another ten years at this laboratory, he felt that the Northern Rivers and Lismore community needed a quality denture clinic and Active Denture Clinic was founded.

The Clinic

Active Denture Clinic has been operating in Lismore since July 2005. The Lismore dental market was in need of a Denture Clinic, and 26 Uralba Street was the perfect central position.

The property was in a sad and less-than-perfect state, complete with orange shag-pile carpet. With a lot of hard work, we transformed the house into a comfortable, clean, and modern clinic that includes a disabled ramp and ample off-street parking. The clinic is equipped to construct all types of dentures, and our central location means we can work closely with local dentists and oral surgeons.
